Maxx Royal Cup 2017: New wave of excitement is underway

Launched in 2016, Maxx Royal Cup has become a premier event for golfers. Partnered with Europe’s best golf venues, the tournament provides an opportunity for golfers to play in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
This year’s format consists of twenty-one tournaments from April through December at high-quality venues across Europe’s top golf destinations. Winners of each event qualify for the big final to be held at Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club on December 6-10.

Now in its second year with four stages completed so far let’s view the tournament at a glance.

Kiev Golf Club hosted the opening event of 2017 on April 22nd. On a perfect golfing day in Ukraine, Maria Fedorowycz and Tymur Soliev captured the first place.

Following the first event, the tournament headed to Como, Italy. Golfers met at the beautiful Carimate Golf Club on May 6th with Leonardo Pieri cruised to victory.

On a weekend with full of golf; the third event took place at the Golf Château de la Tournette. Set in the heart of a stunning natural landscape and with a grand clubhouse dates back to the 16th century in Brussels, Belgium; Philippe de Wil was the top finisher of the stage on May 13th.

Next day, home of the fourth tournament was The Scandinavian Golf Club. Two fantastic courses and with a very impressive clubhouse in Copenhagen, Denmark; it was a great day of golfing when Jesper Koie secured the first spot.

As the excitement rises on the Maxx Royal Cup, the event to be held at Zavidovo Golf Club in Moscow, Russia on May 27th will dot the May schedule.
