RORY MCILROY: I’M IN GOOD FORM

"I'm happy to be here and health-wise, I'm pretty much back to where I need to be. I've started to train the way I was before the injury again and I'm happy about that. This week is another opportunity to see where my game is, try to get into contention and try to win. I feel like it's been two steps forward and one step back since getting back from the injury, so I'm hoping this week will be a step forward. I've been struggling a bit with my putting. I've been working on routine and the mental approach to try and free myself up,” Rory answered when a journalist asked about his current form.

GREAT HOTEL, AMAZING ATMOSPHERE

“Great hospitality, wonderful setting on the beach and great atmosphere here in Maxx Royal. I’m looking forward to playing on the course,” stated world no. 3 from Northern Ireland when asked about his impressions regarding the host venue and added: “I am happy to be back in Turkey after three years. The facilities are fantastic. I am very happy to be here. I hope I can play well here. At least I can play better then the last time I was here 2012.”
