Team Bunker Mentality at the top of Tivibu Pro-Am

A pro-am tournament sponsored by Tivibu was organized at Montgomerie Maxx Royal. Team Bunker Mentality composed of Romain Wattel (pro), Darren Stockdale, Kevin Commings and Thomas Muldoon stayed at the top of the first day. Team Bodrum finished second, followed by Team Calista and Tivibu 10.

Excitement was in the air with just one day to go to the Turkish Airlines Open 2015, thanks to a pro-am tournament held at Montgomerie Maxx Royal Course on 27th of October when the amateurs played with a professional on each team. In this race of 27 teams, Team Bunker Mentality took the first spot at the “Tivibu Pro-Am Tournament”, which is the first event of the week sponsored by Tivibu, one of the new generation digital broadcasting platform.

The winner Team Bunker Mentality with French pro Romain Wattel, Darren Stockdale, Kevin Commings and Thomas Muldoon triumphed at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal Course with a score of -23.
Chris Wood (pro) from England leading the Team Bodrum with Hüseyin Demirağ, Caner Tuna, Nida Cireli on the course, finished second (-19) while Team Calista with Spanish pro Alejandro Canizares, Ali Kızıldağ, Gürkan Başeğmez and Ali Özdoğan came third with a score of -18 (back nine -11). Earning the fourth place, Team Tivibu 10 with Jamie Donaldson (pro), Mehmet Dora, Cem Oktay Senemoğlu and Orhan Hallik stepped up on the stage to receive their awards, too.
Special prizes such as Mens Longest Drive on Hole 12 went to Ahmet Çağıl and Ladies Longest Drive to Yurdanur Akkaş; Nearest to the Pin award was given to Laurent Ferron with 0.77 m on Hole 2.

The prize giving ceremony was held at Montgomerie Maxx Royal Club House. The President of the Turkish Golf Federation Ahmet Ağaoğlu, the Director of International Policy of the European Tour Keith Waters, European Tour Player Lee Slattery, Turk Telekom Group Consumer Business CEO Erkan Akdemir and Hakkı Akil presented the awards
