İstanbul witnessing a historical moment, Bosphorus Bridge connecting Asia to Europe will host an extraordinary shot of the legendary golfer Tiger Woods on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
Part of the European Tour’s inaugural Final Series, Turkey is looking forward to welcoming one of sport’s most recognisable athletes, and world number one, Tiger Woods. The 14-time major winner will be the man to beat as 78 of golf’s best players battle it out on Turkish soil for the first time. It will also be the first-ever Professional Golf event to be hosted at the award-winning Montgomerie Maxx Royal, Antalya. The course, located on Turkey’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, in the renowned golfing region of Belek has been designed by its namesake, Ryder Cup legend and 2010 European Team Captain Colin Montgomerie in association with European Golf Design.
The Turkish Airlines Open which comprises $7 million, that will be staged from November 7-10, 2013, will be a week of many firsts.
Before the tournament, world number one, Tiger Woods will make a shot on the İstanbul Bosphorus Bridge, The bridge connecting Asia to Europe will host an extraordinary shot of legendary golfer. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 14.00 PM by the local time.
